• Sika Solo - Urethane adhesive for installing windows that attach to the vehicle with an adhesive.
• AM Auto OEM Windows
• AM AUTO UNIVERSAL windows (except double-wall acrylics, which do not require urethane)
• FIXED OR OPENING REAR DOOR WINDOWS
• No activator needed
• 1 tube per window (1/2 for small universal windows)
• Wait 24 hours before hitting the road to allow the product to fully cure.
• No activator is required with our Sika Solo. Its all-in-one formula requires no additional products for a compliant application.

Fan, Skylight, Air Conditioner Installation

SIKA 221 - POLYURETHANE

• Sika 221 - Sealant - adhesive for Fan, Skylight, Air Conditioner
• Adheres to a variety of components
• Wear resistant
• Can be sanded or painted
• Passes EN45545-2 R1/R7 HL3
• Non-corrosive
• Low odor
• Will be tack-free in 60 minutes (depending on ambient temperature)
• 24-48 hours before fully curing

See BUTYL below if you prefer a malleable sealant (instead of 221) that will easily fill hollows

DICOR SELF-LEVELING

• Dicor Black or White Self-Leveling
• Easy to apply
• for Fans, Skylights, Air Conditioners, Electrical wire entry...
• Specifically designed for the roofs of our Vans, Trailers, or Truck Campers

Ensures durable waterproofing for roof equipment on our vehicles by using with Dicor self-leveling sealant.

Designed for RV and adventure vans, trailers, etc., it spreads evenly and easily to effectively seal screw heads, joints, and openings around fans, skylights, solar panels, and other roof accessories. A must-have for protecting against water infiltration.

• ideal for filling in gaps on the roof

Automotive grade malleable butyl designed to seal and fill hollows on the roof of our vans during the installation of fans, skylights, and A/C. This easily replaces rigid corrugated spacers used to fill hollows.

SIKA 252 - POLYURETHANE

• Sika 252 sealant - Adhesive for Roof Racks - Awning Brackets
• Elastic adhesive ideal when used with heavier components and/or those that will have a high weight or dynamic deployment like an awning.
• Resists dynamic tension
• Also acts as a vibration dampener
• For additional adhesion before bolting

Thinsulate Installation - Spray Adhesive or any flexible material

• High adhesion spray glue
• Equipped with an adjustable nozzle
• Ideal for installing Thinsulate insulation on the ceiling
• Very good adhesion for all flexible materials

Please use the recommended products to ensure a safe, durable, and perfectly waterproof installation for each component of your vehicle.

To guarantee optimal performance, the suggested products must be stored and used at room temperature. Inadequate storage could alter their properties and impair their effectiveness during installation.

A product too often used that should be avoided: SILICONE

1. Limited adhesion on painted metal
2. Silicone adheres less well than polyurethanes or MS polymers (like Sika products) on painted vehicle surfaces. With vibrations, body twists, and temperature variations, it can detach and allow water to infiltrate.
3. Once applied, silicone leaves a residue that is extremely difficult to remove. Even after cleaning, an invisible film often remains, preventing new products from adhering correctly.
4. Silicone contaminates paint and surrounding surfaces. If repair, new installation, or paint touch-up is necessary, primers, adhesives, and paint may not adhere properly.
5. Silicone is primarily designed as a residential/commercial structural or component sealant, not for automotive use. It does not offer the mechanical resistance necessary to securely hold components like a window, fan, roof rack, or awning subjected to vibrations and stresses.
