Our Journey So Far

With the sale of our first Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, the demand for parts and accessories to convert these vans into recreational vehicles continued to grow.

To meet this demand, we began by offering windows for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter through our existing business. Before long, customers started requesting products for the Ram ProMaster, followed shortly by the Ford Transit.

In 2015, Sprinterfreak.ca was officially launched as the dedicated online store you came to know.

Over the years, we have expanded our product catalog to serve a wide range of adventure vehicles, offering quality components for virtually every type of van conversion project.

In 2026, Sprinterfreak entered a new chapter and became VANFREAK.

This rebranding reflects our commitment to a more inclusive identity that represents the entire adventure vehicle community. While our name has changed, our team, our expertise, and our dedication to providing exceptional customer service remain exactly the same.

Today, after more than 10 years of experience, VANFREAK x Sprinterfreak has become one of Canada's leading sources for premium van conversion parts, helping customers transform their vehicles into the adventure rigs of their dreams.

What products should I use to install an AM Auto window?

All OEM side windows and rear door windows require one tube of Sika Solo urethane per window.

AM Auto universal windows typically require ½ to 1 tube of Sika Solo urethane, depending on the size of the window.

What products should I use to install CR Laurence windows?

All CR Laurence (CRL) windows available on our website feature a bolt-in (sandwich-style) installation.

The interior clamp ring also serves as the finished interior trim, and all mounting screws are included with the window.

Is a cutting template included with the windows?

No. A cutting template is not included with the windows.

For universal windows, you will need to create your own cutting template using the window itself before cutting the vehicle body. We recommend taking the time to carefully verify all dimensions and positioning to ensure an accurate installation. The overall dimensions of each window are listed on our online store.

For OEM replacement windows, no cutting template is required. These vehicles already have factory-stamped cut lines in the body, allowing you to follow the manufacturer's designated opening.

If you have any questions before making the cut, don't hesitate to contact our team. We'll be happy to answer your questions and provide the information you need to help you prepare for your installation.

However, VANFREAK / Sprinterfreak cannot be held responsible for any measuring or cutting errors. Before cutting into your vehicle, carefully verify all dimensions, window placement, and required clearances. If you are unsure at any stage, we strongly recommend consulting a professional installer or contacting us for guidance before proceeding.
