Factory-Style Installation

This window is designed to be installed using the same bonded method as the factory Mercedes windows.

Sika Solo, when applied without an activator , this urethane provides outstanding adhesion to the vehicle's Ceramic Coat finish. This installation method delivers a strong, durable bond while creating a clean, professional appearance with no visible screws.

An interior trim ring is included to conceal the cut edge of the body panel and provide a clean, finished appearance inside the vehicle.

Installation Recommendations

For a long-lasting, leak-free installation, we recommend:

• Protecting all exposed metal edges with a premium anti-corrosion primer such as Sika 207.
• Bonding the window using Sika Solo urethane.
• Allowing the recommended curing time before driving the vehicle.
